This weekend I had no plans, so I decided to try and power out this article I'm writing.
My god, it was brutal. The first drafts of things I write are usually hard, and read pretty awfully - but this was a whole new level of bad.
The first day I struggled so much that I probably only wrote a couple of sentences.
On Sunday, things flowed a little better, and I eventually had an extremely rough first draft, which I've been editing this morning.
I think I'm finding this so difficult because I'm writing about a trend, and other people, when usually I just write about stuff I've done. It feels like a whole different skill.
My deadline is the end of June, 10 more days of editing should hopefully just be enough!
