Quest completed! I've made it back to the UK after 2 months in the US.
I landed back in Heathrow and then went to see my family in Devon for the weekend, where they took me to the local village fete which had a competition for which dog could catch the most sausages.
It's good to be back.
Last week I did the final demo day for the accelerator I joined. This basically involves giving a 2 minute pitch about your product in front of a room full of investors.
There were around 20 teams, and I was 6th up. I'd been practicing this 2 minute schpiel quite a bit, but it was still pretty nerve-wracking.
On the whole though, it went really well - and I've had some interesting conversations afterwards, and still am!
I'm really glad I did this accelerator - I was a bit hesitant at first, but it was a great way to spend the summer, and Zoneless is now a much better product.
What I underestimated is how useful and how many connections I'd make in the short time - it's something I didn't even think about before. It's cool to have a foot in the door in SF.
The jet lag is just about wearing off, and I'm excited to get back into the swing of things.
